- Requirements Gathering (RG) – One of the most important steps in deciding on what ITSM tool is right for your organization is the requirements gathering phase. Our experienced consultants ensure that you have tacked this important step from every angle – users, financial, features, functions, ease of administration, ease of configuration, integration with existing tools sets, etc.
- Request for Proposal (RFP) – Sooner or later you will need to deal with ITSM Tool vendors. We stand ready to help you muddle through the maze. An important yet miss-handled step is the development of a solid RFP. We work side by side with your team to ensure that you put together an RFP that is meant to match the information obtained during the requirements gathering stage.
- Proof of Concept (POC) – When it is time to have the vendors provide hardware, software, and professional services to prove what is in the RFP we will be there to help you. We will work with both the tool vendors and your IT staff to ensure that the tool meets and or exceeds the stated requirements. During the POC we will help you to test the various features and functionality of the tools.
- Configuration & Administration (C&A) – Our consultants are available to work with the tool vendors to ensure that the tool is configured to function optimally within your environment. An often forgotten task that we feel is very important is the development of a set of standard processes and procedures that are required to maintain and administer your new ITSM Tool. We’ll work with both your staff and the tool vendor to develop the needed documents to ensure the on-going management and administration of the ITSM Tool.
